Frodo shook his head, Saroun must have found a new means of torture for him. This lady sounded so nice, she talked with a soft voice. That was something Frodo hadn't heard in years, he almost believed that this lady was kind and wouldn't hurt her. "No! that's not true, there is no more kindness left in anyone, it disappeared many years ago" the back of his mind said. "Please" he begged, "I am in too much pain for another beating" he knew he would be in worse trouble now because he was begging. But he couldn't stand the thought of another beating right now.

"I won't hurt you." Arya repeated. "Here, eat this. It's ben a while, hasn't it?" She asked as she held out a piece of lambas bread.

He took the Lembas bread it looked familiar so he nibbled at it. It gave him strength enough to where he stood up and looked up at Arya. "Why are you here?" he asked "if you did not come to beat me then what have you come for?"

Arya smiled kindly. "To save you, Frodo Baggins. Now come, the Dark Lord sees all,a nd it won't be long before his trechorouse eye finds us."

"You have to find the key, one of the orc gaurds carries the key to my shackle." Frodo said giving a small tug to show her how he was chained up. "When I'm released of this thing I can leave."

"I don't think that will be neccesary." She said in a matter of fact way, drawing a dagger. She stuock it into one of the chian links and it immidiatly grew orange before melting away.

"Thank you, for helping me" he followed her out. Happy to finally be out of that cell, he hoped beyound all else that they wouldn't get captured and he would be put back in there. They were almost caught several times. But they made it out without much trouble. "Have you heard anything about my friends?" he asked when they stopped for a rest.

Arya hesitated. "You mean the rest of the fellowship?" She asked, knowing very well who she was talking about.

He nodded, "I've heard nothing about them" he yawned. He was exhausted already but didn't want to go to sleep yet he wanted to hear what she had to say.

Arya sighed. "They are in variouse places now, the fellowship was broken long ago.. but now," she could put it of fno longer. "Most are dead. Borimir as you know is dead, along with Aragorn, Merry, and Pippin. The hobbits were inicially meant to be kept alove to be tortured, but they didn't last long. Aragorn died valliantly durring the last battle. Sam is missing, it's thought that he's still alive somewhere, being tortured as you have been, but he may well be dead as well. Legolas was forced to leave and join his bretherin in the Undying Lands after Aragorn died, Gimli went with, becoming the first dwarf to enter our sacred place. Gandalf also went, but not by boat. He stayed until the very end, and was killed." She fell silent, waiting for Frodo's reaction.

He started crying, he felt so bad. All his friends were either gone or dead and it was his fault, all this happened because he had failed the quest. It was because he was so weak that the dark lord returned and all this destruction happened, he was so upset he didn't even register what she had said about Sam.

((It was kind of interesting making up what had happend to them, I had a hard tiem deciding where Gimli should have gone, but finally decided to just make him stick with Legolas.))
Arya patted his back. "There are worse things than ddeath, Frodo Baggins. I know that it's hard, but if you want to fix the misatke youy made, we must leave now."

Frodo nodded, "I'll do it. I'll fix this awful mistake for Aragorn and the others" he got up but stumbled alittle and fell back down to the ground. "If only I were stronger" he mumbled.

"You are strong, Frodo. More so than you ever knew, no one expected you to succeed. It was a fools errand, and we all got the end that in our hearts we predicted, no matter what false hope we covered it with. But it is never to late to try agian, Frodo Baggins, not while we're still alive. Here's yoour selcond chance, just let me be your limbs." She said, helping him up.

"But how can I fight him? the dark lord is so strong" All the hope he had gained when they escaped disappeared with the news of his friends. "There is no way I can beat him"
